Marion thanks everyone who donates on a regular basis, or even occasionally, to the Food Bank. The organisers are extremely grateful – as are those who receive the parcels. She is also grateful to those who donate cash. So far she has given £45 to the organisation. Again a big thank you.
WEDNESDAY FELLOWSHIP will meet on 16th March at 2 p.m.

The course continues and a good number are attending. Next Wednesday will be at 3 p.m.
Looking ahead. The CHIVENOR LADIES CHOIR will giving a concert for us on Tuesday 7th June probably at 7.30 p.m. Please put it in your diary. This concert was postponed from last year because of you know what PROCEEDS FROM THE CONCERT WILL GO TO THE UKRAINE APPEAL. Tickets and prices to follow.
MOTHERING SUNDAY FLOWERS
We will be making the Mothering Sunday posies on Saturday 26th March at 10 a.m. in the church. Come along if you would like to help. Just bring a pair of scissors! Thank You Marion.
PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL (PCC)
If you are a member of PCC and wish to be re-elected for 2022/3 then please complete a nomination form and return to John asap. We do in fact have an additional 4 places on PCC. Please consider joining us if you feel that it is something that you could do to support the church family. VERY IMPORTANT In addition to PCC members we need to appoint a SAFEGUARDING REPRESENTATIVE AND/OR OFFICER. This could be undertaken by two people if necessary. This work has been undertaken very ably and willingly by Annette who has now stepped down. THIS IS URGENT so please give it some thought. Training will be given and Annette is willing to advise and help where necessary. You are not required to be a member of the PCC but you can be if you wish. Please speak to me or Marisa to find out a bit more about what this involves. NB Annette has put an excellent system in place together with policies so you would not have to start from scratch, rather you would be operating a system that is already exists.
Please note that THE INSTOW AND WESTLEIGH NEWS is available online. There are usually a few hard copies available at the back of church.
The situation in the Ukraine is absolutely dire as you will know. You can contribute any items you feel would help displaced families via THE POLISH SHOP IN JOY STREET. Alternatively you can make cash donations either: via our church - David will forward our donations dirctly to DEC or you can donate directly to DEC or UNICEF. There are other possibilities, details for which can be found either online or in the press.
