St peter
fremington
Our beautiful Parish Church in Fremington dates back to the 13th Century. St Peter’s is not a museum, but home to a friendly and living congregation. Over recent years God has been breathing new life into our house of prayer so that today people of all ages come to praise God in growing numbers. We have worked hard to develop our ministry to children, young people, and families. Our prayer is that more and more people may come to discover the joy of a living and personal relationship with Jesus.
Whoever YOU are, you will find a warm welcome at St Peter’s.
We are a relaxed and friendly church, and we welcome everyone to our Sunday services and to other events and activities. We believe that the message of Jesus is good news of great joy for all people.
At our Sunday services we meet together to sing God’s praise, to learn from God’s word, to pray for the needs of the world, and to support and encourage each other. We hold a variety of different services and we aim to combine the traditional with the contemporary.
We believe that God calls each one of us to play our own unique part in the life of his church.
Many different people play their part in the life of our church, including: retired clergy and readers, wardens and PCC members, musicians and singers, pastoral visitors and carers, youth and children’s workers, cooks and caterers, bellringers and gardeners, administrators and cleaners.
