Our Family services are slightly shorter (around 45mins) and include prayers, music and teaching for all ages.
Holy Communion is a more formal service which includes readings, prayers and hymns. We share bread and wine as Jesus did with His friends at the Last Supper the night before He died. In doing so, we give thanks and celebrate in the presence of the risen Jesus alongside all other Christians around the world.
Westleigh's family breakfast service is an informal, all-age service where we meet for breakfast, praise and worship.
We start the service in Church together with songs, prayers and a reading. The children and young people then go out to Sunday Club in the church hall to share in fun games, activities, crafts and worship songs which coincide with the themes explored in the remainder of the Morning Praise service. It ends with a snack and a prayer before being collected from the hall after the main church service has finished.
Our Taize service is a quiet, candlelit service which includes prayer, readings, times of silence and Taize music which involves repetetive chants based on scripture. You can find out more about Taize here.
An informal service with songs, prayers, readings, a short teaching, and time for reflection.
